Selenite
Selenite is a hydrous calcium sulfate mineral with a hardness of 2. It is a form of Gypsum and is called Selenite if it is relatively clear and well form. Selenite is formed as in evaporated clay beds and around hot springs. The crystals have the property of being soft and flexible. Selenite can be colourless, gray, white, green or golden brown. Selenite is found in many countries including Australia, Greece, Mexico and USA. Selenite crystals are well-known to have the metaphysical properties of clearing negative energies and bringing in the light energy. Selenite grids are often used to protect one’s home or working area. Selenite can also be used in conjunction with Feng Shui theory to transmute negative “sha” energies and bringing in peaceful and calming light energy.
