Quartz
Quartz is a silicon dioxide crystal with a hardness of 7. Its crystal systems is hexagonal (trigonal), and it is among the most abundant of mineral. Generally Quartz refers to Clear Quartz, these stones are thought of as colorless crystals with relative smooth sides and naturally facetted terminations at one or both ends. Quartz can occur in numerous growing habits, including compact or concretionary masses and fibrous forms, as well as macrocrystalline Quartz, which is not prismatic. Quartz occurs in wide range of environments and is the main constituent of manmade glass as well as natural glass such as Obsidian and Tektite. It is also common to see Quartz crystals with inclusion such as Ajoite, Hematite, Lithium and / or Rutile. Quartz crystals grows on the hexagonal crystalline system but there is a tremendous variety of formations which give rise to name such as Laser Wand Quartz, Generator Quartz etc. Quartz crystals exhibit the property of piezoelectricity, by which it can transform mechanical energy into electromagnetic energy, and vice versa. Due to this wonderful property, we can also find Quartz in modern man-made devices such as watches and radio transmitter etc. In the metaphysical world, clear Quartz is by far the most versatile and multidimensional stone. Three of its key properties are energy amplification, programmability and memory. Clear quartz can be used for almost any metaphysical purpose, including healing, consciousness expansion, Ckakra opening, communication with guides, alternate-life recall, inter-dimensional travel, polarity balancing, attracting and sending love, improve mediation and dreaming experiences, attracting and sending love, generating prosperity and just about anything limited only by ones consciousness.
